Jefferson County Judicial Center

The Jefferson County Judicial Center, the fifth Courthouse to serve Jefferson County, is located at Seventh and Jefferson Streets. The Judicial Center houses chambers for the Louisville offices of the Supreme Court and Appellate Court, twenty-three Jefferson County Circut Courts, Family Courts, and support functions. There are ten floors and the building is 203 feet tall. The Judicial Center has 284,000 square feet and is 5,000,000 cubic feet. The primary exterior finishes are pre-cast concrete and glass curtain wall.

As project architect for the Louis & Henry Group, I led a team of six architects/grad-architects through a fast track design build production. The Judicial Center came in on budget and on time in December 1998.
